Haunted Chocolatier just sounds weird and he doesn't even know where the game is headed. Not my style for sure.
I mean it’s clearly supposed to be a sequel to Stardew to some extent, but with different theming. Instead of farming you’re making chocolate, instead of spelunking in caves you’re hopping in portals, and instead of a sunny village you get a snowy town. Same gameplay loop but different vibes. I wouldn’t be so quick to write it off.
Wooaf .... even when I was the age of those girls I didn't have THAT kind of energy level.
buuuUUuuuut... I DO have a counterpoint!!

(And yes, that's from Mule Variations, for which he actually won a Grammy. Not that Mule Variations isn't fantastic and full of all sorts of great stuff, but I tend to think that that it was the Grammys saying "oh ... um ... geez ... we really really should have given this guy a Grammy years ago, lets ... um ... lets make up for that now".
Rain Dogs, Frank's Wild Years, Real Gone, Small Change, Bone Machine, those probably all deserved Grammys. The VH1 Storytellers probably deserved one for live performance).
Meh, I have faith he'll make it fun either way. Doesn't sound too far removed from the gameplay loop of Stardew from what I've heard.
