Night Market fishing busted?

I've made about 60 casts over 2 ingame nights and have only caught trash and sea/super cucumbers, none of the special fish. Others dealing with this? lvl 10 fishing, +3 food buff, the new iridium rod, bait, lure all used.

I saw someone mentioned on twitter they were having this problem and Ape replied to them saying he was looking into it. I was able to fish up the special fish from it a few days ago though.

I was able to fish up everything except the Octopus which refused to bite despite me putting a whole energy bar.

Went to Ginger Island West, fished there a bit, still no Octopus. Other than the Stingray and Legend, it's the only thing stopping me from getting my Stardrop which is somewhat annoying lol

I had pretty good success by going one night to get whatever I could (Blobfish, Spookfish, Midnight Squid) caught a lot of seaweed and the Super Cucumbers too but also the fish I wanted. I hooked an octopus but wasn't able to land it. The next night I had bait made from the specific fish I wanted more of and that worked well.
I have the iridium rod and ate fishing bonus food.
