Cranberries
This game is amazing, stressful and relaxing at the same time lol. Im just stuck with what to do with my cranberries and need a little help which i can then implement into the game after.
So ive got a question about the seedmaker. Is it worth turning some of my cranberries into the seedmaker so that i have some seeds for next fall? So heres my math that i need checking please. Beginning of fall, i purchased 196 cranberry seeds (240g) at a cost of 47,040.
I did a little test and i put in 103 cranberries into seedmaker to get 196 seeds. If i turn those same cranberries into jam i would of made 20,600. So its cost me 20,600 for next falls seeds rather than 47,040? Ive still got about 450 cranberries left and im only on the 2nd harvest. I think i have 3 harvests left. So will probably have loads by the end of fall. I was planning on turning all normal cranberries into jam and the silver and gold ones, i was going to sell. Does all of this sound like a good plan? It would be nice to know if im on the right track.
Also is it best to put the cranberries into preserve, keg or dehydrate?
Any help and feedback would be appreciated thanks.

Saving around 27,000 is pretty good, but it's a year in the future, which isn't useful.
This is why the automate mod is useful for these types of activities as you can just place a chest with the crops near a bunch of seed makers and it will pull from that chest while placing the seeds back into it.

if you have the time to place them all in a seedmaker (and if you wanna farm ancient seeds from it too) then go down that route, make sure to do it on a good luck day because I'm pretty sure that influences the seed maker.

Otherwise its probably best to just make gold with that time and just buy the seeds, thou I would recommend trying to buy Beet seeds next year instead if you can because they are only 30g a seed packet and sell for a good bit. All the multi-harvest crops aren't as good past year 1 IMO in favor of Sandy's crops or ancient seeds.
