[1.6.6 Update] Golden Joja Parrot Still Not Working.

Third Time Posting about this since the 1.6.0 Update when It first Came out, I've done everything I could to try and Interact with the Parrot. All It does is just Squawk at me..

I have enough money (78,244,132 Gold) and I've already collected about 24 Walnuts, is anyone else having this problem and Will It Ever get Fixed?

To answer some questions:

1. No Matter what I do, No matter how many times I Right click, Left Click, Re-load my game or sleep through days The Bird will not bring up a text box when I interact with it.
All it does is Squawk at me and the only thing that changes is a white text bubble will appear over its head with gold coins inside of it.

2. I'm running no mods what so ever, my game is fully updated and all 3807 files are all accounted for and running correctly.

3. Not Sure If this effects it but- I'm on year 7, All my skills are level 10, I have almost all the Collectibles unlocked and went for the Community Center. Also I do not have most villagers at 5 or 10 hearts yet.

4. Also Not Sure if This Effects It But I do indeed use Item Id spawns.

5. In total over my game I have made 89,058,195 Gold and only been able to collect 24 out of the 130 Walnuts..

6. I'm 100% Sure I have NOT payed off the Parrot already.

It should show you the total amount you need when you talk to it and if it's not working make sure you check your mods if any of them might be causing any issues if you use any.

wow, how did you get 78Million?? and only found 24 walnuts,
I found 100 walnuts by spring of year 2 and I only had about 7Million.
Just go find the walnuts

Kegs, Kegs, Kegs. Get the Greenhouse, Ginger Island, plant Starfruit and Keg everything. Hops is also really good as a moneymaker in year 1 if you don't have enough money for Starfruit yet.
Rush the mines, farm ore and coal, buy wood.

That's the thing, I don't have any mods. My game is fully up to date and completely Vanilla. I'm so Lost- Especially Since No text prompts pop up when I click the Parrot. It just Squawks

I'm on Year 7 and I haven't really done anything on Ginger Island besides the basic Unlocking stuff when it comes to zones and parrots.
Though if you're looking to make Money Quickly there is a guide to editing your Save File to boost your money.

Are you sure you didn't already pay the parrot. or get all the walnuts. what you described it what happens if you have already have them all. Upload your save file to the stardew checkup tool and check the walnut section to confirm.

the parrot is always there even if it has nothing to do, but it won't respond to you in that case. I searched and thus bug has been reported by no one else, so likely it is a misunderstanding. If it really is a bug, you should report it to the developers on the official forum in the bug thread instead of steam.

Not sure if you've tried this yet, but try to verify your game files with Steam. Could be you have a random bad file somewhere that's causing the interaction to fail, it's happened to me before in other games. If you don't know how to verify game files it's really easy, just right click Stardew Valley in your game library and hit properties. Go to the installed files tab and verify. Only thing I can personally think of that might be causing it other than what slothrop suggested.

Alright, I did what you said andddddd- It still doesn't work. The Bird just still Squawks at me.. I right click, left click, sleep through nights, re load my game and nothing.. No Issues came up with the Verifying thingy either

I can't reach out because I don't have a Twitter or Reddit. This is all I have to reach out and try to be heard on..

The official forum is neither reddit nor twitter. it is https://forums.stardewvalley.net/ . Steam isn't monitored by the devs so its not a good place to report a bug

aahh, year 7, well then you had plenty of time to make money.

I use the Item bag mod and the sell Anything mod, The tractor mod lets me zip thru the mines really fast, and I collect a lot of EXTRA item bags, which I sell in the shipping bin. Since the bags are expensive to buy (but free in mines, lol) selling them makes good profit.
I also sell lots of upgraded wines.

Wow 7 million by spring in year 2 is nuts, I thought I was doing well with 1 (3 overall) by that time lmao! Did you plant starfruit in every inch of your farm? xD

well yes I have starfruit, but I also have a mod for SWEET GEM BERRY WINE, which is REALLY profitable. And faster machines means it only take a few days to age the wine, instead of a month. And Lnh's Four Season Greenhouse give you plenty of room for crops and trees.
