You may give a try for "TimeSpeed" on NexusMod. Hope it helps

There is no time limit for anything. you can go for 50 in game years and not miss anything

There IS the most stressfull time limit, if you pass out outside your home you'll be fined an outrageous amount of gold or an item. For people like me (and OP, it seems) that have to deal with an insame amount of stress in RL, it becomes impossible to play a game that add even more stress.

So, I higly recomend TimeSpeed, it's the only way that I could return to play this game.

If you pass out you don't lose any item, ever, and the fine is capped at 1000 gold.
You only lose items and a lot of gold if you run out of health (aka die)

Thanks for the info, it seems I misturestood something. Anyway, I'll stick with the mod, I already try to use it only when I can't deal with the stress, so it's not that different. I'm gratefull all the same :)

I don't blame you. I have the CJB mods and occasionally, mostly to plant something late at night, I turn back time (just like Cher wanted)

Each day has a time limit, but there is no actual day limit - there is no "fail state" if you take too long, nor is anything permanently missable after a certain amount of days. No matter how many in-game years go by, you can still keep playing as much as you want. :celeste_strawberry:

So when I and many others say "take your time", this is what we mean. Efficient players are able to accomplish their personal goals with as little days spent as possible, while others may just want to accomplish those same tasks at their own pace. Also, if a day doesn't go well for you for any reason, you can restart a day simply by exiting the game and reloading your save file.

Just remember that this time limit is self-imposed by our obsession with min-maxing everything, try to let it go, be ok with not watering everything or passing out every now and then. It's ok to just water the plants and then go to bed to fast forward time. You can always mine again later.

I find that in the beginning if I can get coffee or some other slight speed increase for travelling then, I can visit all the places that I want to go each day within the time except for if I'm doing alot of planting that day. Once all the locations open up then you can make warp portals to get to all the places or you decide I'll go to this spot once a week and that every other day and these every day.
I usually reach game completion in the middle of the 3rd year. Since 1.6 the lost gold is capped at 1,000 and the 3 times lost for dying will not be things you are wearing or weapons, so after the 1st month, I generally don't care if I accidentally get those penalties because I earn more than 1,000 in a day and the items are generally no big deal.

the game shouldn't be causing you stress, its stardew valley.
there is a mod called time freezes at midnight i find this one quite useful

CJB Cheats Menu - is the name of a mod that allows you to freeze time everywhere, freeze time just in caves, or has a slider and you can slide back time or move time forward. Just be cautious with playing with the slider because the NPCs don't automatically reset, they keep moving around per their schedule so if it's 10pm and you reverse it to 10am the NPCs aren't automatically where they would be at 10am. But if you want to manipulate time it's a decent mod for that.

Another one is WeMod - This has a Time Freeze mod to activate on need :stardrop: Hope this helps :tabbycat:

CJB Cheats is easy to use and I have it set to freeze time when ever I go into a building, or in the mines, but have time running outside. You can even slow down how fast time goes by while outside. It also allows you to go back or forward in time

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but that doesn't sound healthy to me. If you use the mod when you "can't deal with the stress", doesn't that just mean that you are "somewhat" stressed "but dealing with it" while playing regularly?

In the end, you do you, but I feel like you're just "hiding" the actual problem from yourself by having the mod to take care of the "worst" situations that you run into. Maybe you should just work on developing a mindset that takes a more relaxed approach to the game in general.
