Rain Totem question

When I activate the Rain Totem on 13 Summer (during storm), ,next day is supposed to storm.

Unfortunately it was green rain and no storm no battery.

So now on 14 if I activate Rain Totem will I get storm ? or just rain ?

Craft rods - a LOT of rods. Then - wait for storm. Eventually it will come.

No storm in winter. I got no storm in spring. 2 storms in summer. Probably no more storm in automn than in spring.
with 20 rods I got 2 batteries from 1 storm. So 4 batteries per year. And 9 hearts Pam friendship didn't get me a single bat. If I wanna go to ginger endgame (5 bats) I have to cheat or farm those 5% chance bats

It's RNG - and looks like you've got very unlucky.
In my latest game I have only 10 rods (and got only a couple at the start of summer actually) - and already about 30 batteries, and Y1 fall isn't even over yet. And few of those were from Pam - though I had to scam with restarting the day a bit.

Yes this is lottery. I have to install cheat mod to counter this lottery effect. Else I can't reach endgame before another year

You don't HAVE to - but it's totally up to you if you want to.
It's your game, so play it any way you like it.

You can get batteries from iridium bats and barrels in the skull cavern. The traveling cart also has a chance to sell them.

yes, but she now realises when she can't drive and just puts up a sign informing anyone who comes along they can drive the bus.
