Is there a good survival mod that will introduce hunger, sleep etc?

Sleep itself is already part of the game. By default, you can't stay up past 2AM, and trying reduces your energy for the next day.

As mentioned before sleep is already a thing, as for hunger and thirst the game already makes you eat things to recover your energy on the go, so I don't think anybody feels the need to slap even more bars on top of this. Doesn't add anything more to the game anyhow.

Push realism to the max, hunger bar, hydration bar, mental health bar, health bar, stamina bar, heat bar, hygiene bar and bladder bar.

Now go on your way to install mods that removes them.

did the people here miss the bit where op is explicitly asking for MODS, NOT FEATURES? y'know, things that people need to go out of their way to put into their games and thus will NOT affect the vanilla game?

though i'd argue one such mod would also need to implement some custom maps. the way this game is designed makes the idea of a survival mod feel a bit odd. would likely need to be something the size of SVE or ridgeside, on top of starting you out with a kitchen...
or combined with a mod that starts you out on ginger island with some extra tent kits, that way you'd get access to an early kitchen.

i think i heard of a hunger/thirst mod, but i can't remember if it's up-to date. or am i mistaking it for the regen mods?

What kind of seasoning did you use when you roasted him? :steammocking:

if it was a survival mod then sleep would need more, the energy reduction becomes trivial pretty quick. maybe more like a max energy + hp reduction for the day (or even small but permanent drops to hp for staying awake too late that builds back by oversleeping, or an xp penalty for the day)

I don't use seasoning, I keep them grilled and nature.

Looks like there's a mod called Survivalistic on Nexus mods that adds hunger/thirst and has been updated to 1.6. I can't confirm if it's good or not; I haven't played it.

There are several survival mods that add hunger/tiredness, some even add temperature control. The easiest way is to check for survival on SMAPI, or try searching Nexus for that as well.
