Tea leafs not regrowing

I have planted tea leaves on Ginger Island. They are fully grown and have produced leafs. But for some reason, one day they stoped regrowing. I've visited the island every day for 1,5 ingame week and no leafs have grown. Anyone else having this problem?

They only produce once per day during the last week of each month. They won't produce in winter if they're planted outside, but will if they're in a planter box inside or on ginger island.
edit: forgot the ginger island part.

As it was said higher - it only produces in the last week of the month - even on Ginger Island. That's how they work.
