Help! Stardew Crashing When Clicking Load or Start New Game!
As said above... I've unintalled and reinstalled the game and every mod I have. Here is my SMAPI log. Please help... This is one of my favorite games of all time.

How did you uninstall your game? Make sure to check that no residue files are left behind in the folder. Basically delete everything except the mods folder. Then reinstall SDV. Then SMAPI.

It's possible that the 1.5.6 broke some of the mods? Are they all up to date and current?

This has been going on since before the 1.5.6 update. It was going since before November 2021... I have uninstalled and reinstalled every mod several times...

I uninstalled it using Steam and reinstalled several times.

Steam doesn't always cleanly uninstall games. Check the SDV folder for residue files.

I'm having this problem right now. First time loaded it up, worked smoothly. I left after 30 mins tried to play again, not loading. I have no mods enabled

just remove mods folder from SV folder

Yep agreed. Or alternately, get Steam to reinstall SDV into a new, completely different location
That's a good advice for any type of game. "C:\" Can be really obstinate when it comes to games. I have my Steam and my Steam library on other drives. Maybe create a new Steam library outside of C:/. If C is your only drive then create the Steam Library folder outside the program files?

I uninstalled and reinstalled Stardew and SMAPI, they work fine. I started reinstalling my mods one by one and the problem arose with Space Core. I took out all mods but Space Core. Ran Fine. Started adding in mods one by one until the problem happened again. It was PyTK. Uninstalled all mods but PyTK and Space Core. The problem occurred again. Played around with various mod combinations but the only thing that remained consistent is when PyTK and Space Core were installed at the same time. I found the issue but now how to get them to work together because they are both pre-reqs for a lot of mods...

Try out the unofficial PyTK patch.

If that doesn't work then both of these mods are incompatible for the time being.

Thank you! I've just put in the unofficial one, it still freezes but at least it is not crashing for the time being, thank you!

Spacecore I am not so sure about. Maybe give updating PyTK a go and see if that resolves your issue
