Glitch In Journey of the Prairie King?

So while I was trying to complete a game of Journey of the Prairie King and came across the first boss you face some how the boss started to walk left and got out of the area of the game just for him to spawn back in place from where it started moving and repeated the whole thing until I killed him.

Is this a glitch that people know about or did I just stumble across it by mistake?

dont know, never got that far. wont try to even beat the prairie king.
