Emilys Ginger Island Request for Ginger

During 28 days of summer I have actally found ZERO ginger on ginger island, with the exception of a few drops from tigerslimes.

According to youtube, there should be dozens of spots every other day with harvestable ginger, so you can be done with the quest in roughly two weeks. My quest failed yesterday.

So ... honest question: What am I doing wrong here?

it isn't harvested like other crops, you dig it out with a hoe (don't know if you do/did that) other then that might just be a spot of bad luck? I normally keep a lil something of everything organised in chests mainly for quests. When I have a quest for something somehow it seems to take forever to find said item.

Problem is, you have to harvest these freshly, so even if I had 100 ginger, I could not finish the quest according to QI. :(
Point is, there is nothing to hoe, not a single ginger. x)

But thanks for the response, maybe I just wait till she wants something else from there.

For ginger u need to know their spawn point and need to fight monster which drop ginger. IIRC Tiger Slime sometimes drop it, heck even chest from Volcano Dungeon drop it, but so rare.

But yeah, u better to take another items from her like Taro Roots.
