got a question about a modded save

if i am able to load up a save without certain mods i should be 100% good right? i play on the steamdeck as well and dont want to put the mods on the steam deck so i've been removing mods that i dont need and wanted to make sure

it depends on what the mods does. If it changed maps/locations or add items or npcs then you will have issues if you play with the mod removed. If its retextures or something simple there might not be an issue. hard to answer without knowing what mods are being removed.

The only big mod I added was stardew expanded and the mods needed for it (and spacecore but I don't think it's needed for sde)

Forgot to mention that it sde is a seperate save from the one im referring to

a seperate save file should be fine to play unmodded
