Need help! Bush is blocking the bookseller
Is there a way to remove bushes because one spawned on the stairs to the bookseller, giving me no access to him whatsoever. Any ideas on what I could do?

update/disable mods that might affect it.

double check it's not a weed you can remove with sword/scythe.

post a screenshot if you want more specific tips.
i don't have any mods installed, here is a pic https://imgur.com/a/vhS7gxy

An upgraded axe (copper or steel, I don't remember which) can remove those bushes on your farm, but I don't think non-farm bushes can be removed. That's a really weird bug either way.

If you removed mods mid-save then that can happen.

A few people have reported a bush there but they all were mod users. If you ever had mods and removed them that's the issue. Maybe a friend or family member did or you did long ago and forgot.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\ and delete StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command% To stop it loading mods.

But you probably need to start from scratch anyway since removing mods can leave the farm corrupted. So best bet is turn off cloud saves on steam, then delete and reinstall the game, run it, and that will install a fresh clean version of the game. Anything else wont because cloud saves, saves mods, glitches and all as is and will reinstall that.

You can go up when he's not there, it's just empty.

i realise that this may already be fixed but in case others like me ask again, i installed a mod called "Lets move it" and it allowed me to just move the bush out the way
