Has anyone been able to find the Book of Mysteries?

It's literally the last thing I need. I swear I've cracked more than a hundred mystery boxes open by now, basic and golden. I'm losing my mind here

I got it from golden boxes myself. I guess I got pretty lucky as it seems to be pretty rare.

what is the best way to get mystery boxes? fishing? or killing enemies? I only have the Book of Mysteries and the Treasure Appraisal Guide left and I am getting desperate

I believe it's equally likely from regular mystery boxes and golden mystery boxes. I've tried opening a series of regular mystery boxes, then restarting the day and doing a series of golden mystery boxes instead.

It appears that they share the same RNG counter, but certain items get an upgraded version if a golden box is opened rather than a regular one. When the book of mysteries came up in the sequence, I got the book of mysteries whether I was opening a regular box or a golden one.

I taked some hunting in the Skull Cavern and Volcano Dungeon. I think this book is the worst thing to finish, it takes patience and perseverance. Now i need only the Treasure Appraisal Guide, but i never see in the seller or other.
