Progress in Stardew Valley Expanded after update
Will progress continue if I update Stardew Valley Extended to the new version by deleting the old one in folder "mods"?

I really don't think so, if you delete the older version of SVE, you'll delete the saves too.

Mod users here, update to new version is fairly simple.

You remove old mod and replace it with new version.

For a few mods like SVE, I recommend looking around the guide to update in their main mod page on Nexus. If there is nothing related to updating mod, do the former recommendation.

save files and game data is saved seperately, so no need to worry.

Though it might still be a good idea to backup your save file, just in case there's a bug in the mod that might corrupt your save file.
