"An Unforgettable Soup" on year 2?

I've been playing a new map since the update launched, and I'm in Fall now. I see that the achievements have been updated, and one of them is getting the best result for the Luau soup. Can I get that in Spring of year two? Or will I have to start a new farm all over again?

You'll just have to get to your next luau. Whether you make a new farm or play through a year is up to you! Hope this helps!

I have an update on this. I just went through the luau again on year 2 and the cheevo did not register. It may be that you have to get it on year 1. Which means another new save.

Got the best soup on my current save on Year 5 and unlocked the achievement, both
in-game and on Steam.

Try using a Gold Star or Purple Star Purple Mushroom. That's what I used.

I didnt care to much about it as "I allready unlocked that" but in the first year I unlocked it again apparently. Think it was a gold sturegon I used.

I'm using gold star cauliflower, and the governor is saying it's the best soup.

At first, I thought it was because I'm playing with mods. But I got the achievement for placing first in the grange display contest on the same, modded save. And I'm playing on Linux Mint, so I'm not sure if I need to figure out launch options like I did when playing on Win8.

I've started a new farm just for the luau achievement, and if it still doesn't work, I'll verify the files and try again on vanilla.

We just got to Summer and the Luau Festival, and got the achievement for adding golden star mayo to the soup. ( I know it sounds weird, but he was excited about the soup :D )

This was on a new created farm.

It'll be a bit before I get to summer on the new map, thanks to split shifts at work and mowing the lawn on my day off.

Honestly the mechanics behind luau are really interesting to say.

You can put almost everything provides it's eatable and high value.

So basically, avoid poisonous items but pick whatever bring you the best income. Hypothetically, dump an iridium ancient fruit wine for overkill

i had killed a pig so I added pork to the soup and everyone loved it, said it was best soup ever.

One more update; it appears that getting this achievement must be done on year one. I just got it with the new save with my usual gold star cauliflower. Not as amusing as the gold star mayo, but I like saving a cauliflower just to get that out of the way early.

No. I recently got the achievement on year 2, after getting pleasant soup on year 1. If the achievement doesn't register, it's probably because of mods.
