Cannot find Woody's Secret book

I've been doing nothing but chopping trees for days. I get Golden Mystery Boxes sometimes, but after doing whole maps and dungeons of trees, I got nothing. I'm even taking advantage of the Green Rain and I got nothing.

I don't have all the Masteries yet (just Fishing, Foraging, and Mining). Could that do something wtih it?

Drop rate is really low. Took me a while as well. A good luck day (by checking your fortune on the TV) might help your odds.

According to the wiki, luck is predetermined at the start of the day and checking the TV only informs you as the player what your luck (or misfortune) will be for the day. But a good luck day improves drop rates, so if you're at end-game it's definitely worth it to time skip and try to seek the book on a a day where you have the best fortune.

If anything, I have all of the books so if you just want the achievement I'm willing to let you visit my town and read them all to get the achievement real fast. Some of them are extremely grindy to get.

Wanted to say I did your suggestion of waiting for a very lucky day from the fortune teller. Drank Ginger Ale, ate Spicy Eel, and after like 20 or so trees I got it!

So heres what i did to get WOODY'S SECRET...

Get Best Luck on TV

Multi different days chopping and got nothing.

I lucky lunched and gingeraled with a qi seasoning and still never got it. I also had duel lucky rings equipped.

It took me buying the rainbow treat that costs 3 prismatic shards and the gingerale with qi seasoning and FINALLY Found it later that day after chopping (I kid you not) the whole forest and most of the town trees.

I found it in spring btw. Not sure what everyone else's seasons were.

I got it in Spring Y1. Honestly just ate some luck food on mid luck day.

Took me like 10 days of chopping only to get it.

a few people here have reported theirs being found in spring so I got nervous. I found mine in summer!
I waited for the luckiest possible day, and ate lucky food, but by the time I finally found it (maybe 150 trees later) my luck from my spicy eel had already run out lmao

Yea I would say books are... certain magic power that you need a RNG god to pull it out lol.

Saw a lot of people struggling to get and here I am, getting Woody and Monster by Summer 13.
