The bins should be giving you 4-6 bait once per day at morning. They work fine for me.
I think green rain is guaranteed, once a year (in summer, obvs), but green moss grows all the time. there are so many trees all around the map, and each one is capable of developing moss.
green rain is epic though, I collected ~500 moss that day xD
I do agree though, deluxe worm bins are awesome, just wanted to point out that moss isn't as scarce as you make it seem :)
Odd. I never noticed any moss anywhere until the rain happened...
one of us may be experiencing an abnormality, or like you say, you just didn't notice it
Worm bins used to be absolutely terrible, expensive and only unlocked at fishing 8. Now they're unlocked at fishing 4, take less to craft and produce more bait.
The deluxe upgrade, unlocked at fishing 8, uses an existing worm bin and 30 moss. After about 15 days of production, you'll effectively get back the moss used.
The cost to buy an equivalent amount of deluxe bait produced per day is about 400-500g. The old version's worm bins only produced about 25g worth of bait per day at best.
Deluxe Worm Bins are awesome.
You kinda need the regular ones to make them, though.
