I, too, found an ancient seed though not on Day 1, IIRC it was like the 3rd week of Spring. I remember noting while playing that certain things I used to have so much trouble getting, like the dwarven scrolls, seems like they are dropping much better now.
During 1.5, I did about 3-4 save files and in every single one of them, I'd come up 1-2 scrolls short by the time I got to the bottom of the mine.
In this playthrough, I have 3 out of the 4 scrolls and I just got to Floor 80 for the first time, and I saw scrolls 1 and 2 multiple times.
Edit: I wonder what the remix bundles are and the remix mines are (if there is a hammer in the mines) might check out now :D
I plan to farm for copper, hopefully will get another one. Had to say, both days were ones with very good luck.
i mean, having ancient fruit popping pretty much at the start of summer of year 1 is pretty awesome? being able to feed those into a seed maker so you can put them in your greenhouse as soon as it's ready seems like a good thing to me.
