How to catch new fish?

I want to catch Goby. Help me, please!

I caught one going to southern forest, south west of the spring onion spawns. Aim your rod to the south and cast to the left, you should land at the base of the waterfall. My guess is you can do this in the NE side of town as well.

Right near where the hat shop is should be a waterfall. Simply cast your line there and hope your bobber lands at the bottom of the waterfall. It may take a while, but eventually you should catch a Goby this way.
