I have read all the books before the new version and I don't have the achievement

There's new books that improve your stats and add other QOL which are unrelated to the books found in the library which are simply informative. There is a merchant that will periodically visit the town to sell some of the ones you can obtain.

I need the last 2 books to get the achivement, can those be found in mines, skull caveren or ginger island,dig spots randomly or is it with book seller only/is a bug? I've went through 4-5 season rotations now but no new book pops on the book seller anymore.

If the bookseller doesn't have it in stock, you can also find it from breaking open artefact troves which was how I was able to obtain this book.

Sure, i taked now. The desert trader can trade a Artifact Trove for Omine Geode, i take some 70 and after opened near 20 i taked the last book.
