Grandpa's Secret Room/The Final Path

So I found Grandpa's secret room by where you can find leeks/near the waterfall/sleeping bear, and I'm confused. What kind of points are we collecting for "The Final Path" It says I have 7462/10000...but of what?

XP. You can increase this number by harvesting crops, slaying monsters, mining rocks, chopping down trees and catching fish. You should be able to reach the required amount of XP for all 5 levels without too much trouble.

You can also check this progress in your farmer stats tab, the same one where you can find all your skill levels.
