My bamboo pole can hold bait and lures?

Just loaded an old save (from like 2016) and I have a bamboo pole that had a dressed lure and 99 beach warp totems (lol).

I removed the totems and the lure and I'm able to put lure and normal bait into the bamboo pole.

I was looking online to figure out wtf was going on but the bamboo pole doesn't allow bait or lures in it according to the wiki.

was that patched out or is my save just weird cause it's so old.

Bamboo pole was never able to hold bait or lures in the vanilla game. Fiberglass rod can hold just bait, and Iridium rod can hold bait and lures.

i can take a picture of mine right now and show it has space for bait and lures lol
