New Achievements... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Why?
Seriously why? Me and a friend spent over 100 to 150+ Hours fully 100%ing this Game and have a Complete Save File, Granted yes we had a lot of fun but like its kind of really annoying that our 100% just got wiped out for New Achievements that would take us another 100 or so+ Hours to earn again, Would it be possible to just boot up our Old Save File and have some if not all but like two Achievements Pop? All the New ones look like they would do so if you have a Complete File already prior to 1.6

you can just get the achievments using SteamAchievementManager

I got 3 already on my old save and see some new content you wont see till later in game if you start new. New farm is for seeing the new farm and some of the new dialog but it's not required.

Edit: but no, they don't just pop up. You need do the stuff. You'll need to do the stuff, or do the stuff again. Easier done on old files than new farms though.

I believe CA mentioned that the new content would work seamlessly on old files, so I assume achievements would pop as well. If not, then at least you have a reason to play this with your friend again lol

I know you can do that sure, But thats just kind of cheating tho, Im gonna boot up our old Save File and see if Redoing all the small Tasks will get them to pop easily since we've already done all those tasks apart from like two of them that is a New Achievement, I feel like they should thankfully but still a Dev adding Achievements to like a already 100 to 200+ Hour long Game is always a mistake.

Okay thank goodness, If thats true Il go ahead and Pin your Comment as a solution

Edit: You can just redo the Tasks again if you have all the Items on your File still, And thankfully me and a friend do

I don't think anything auto pops when you load the file, but I think you can get some of them pretty quickly. As long as you've gotten to the bottom of the Dangerous Mines previously, you can get this new achievement quickly by activating the shrine (on 120), sleeping overnight, then taking the elevator back to 120.

Other achievements, though, look more problematic. I'm reading the strongest weapon one requires you to re-purchase like a Galaxy Sword (from the Adventurer's Guild) and then re-forge it into an Infinity Sword again (which costs 3 Galaxy Souls / 120 Qi Gems). A couple of the new achievements are season-specific (summer event, fall event, etc.) so you might have to sleep through several seasons if you just wanted to unlock trophies.

However, you also need to pay attention to the new Collect all books achievement, which requires you to pay attention to which days the bookseller visits (among other things).

Finally, the big one, which I cannot confirm either way. The perfection achievement. The last time I played my save file (2 years ago), I left it on the day of the Perfection cut scene. So this achievement just unlocked for me instantly, when I met my wife up there. The real question is for people who have seen the cut scene already -- does walking up there unlock the achievement?

i hope concerned ape adds more achievements, he shouldnt be stopped cause a few random people dont want their "100%" ruined.

just load a old save and get the achievements, it aint hard.

You can get most of the new achievements by loading your old save and completing the tasks you've done again.

All you have to do to get the Ginger Island achievement is visit ginger Island. If you've already done so in the past, you'll get the achievement as soon as you come back, whether it's by boat, warp totem or obelisk.

If you achieved 100% on your existing file, your completion rate will go down to 97% due to the new items added to the game. Despite this, the way to the summit will remain open and you can still get the achievement simply by visiting the summit a second time.

If you reached floor 120 in the "Dangerous Mines" before the update, simply activate the shrine at the bottom of the mines and return to floor 120 the next day to get the achievement for that.

Thank goodness this is how it works and both me and my one friend don't have to put in another 100 to 200+ Hours into the Game to earning the 100% again. We were not gonna do that ♥♥♥♥ all over again despite having a blast with this Game

Walking up to the peak does grant the perfection acheivment.

My one problem I literally just finished the fair on my old save. Would get that one sooner on new save maybe if I get the right things for the fair to win first time.

This has got to be one of the most entitled threads ive come across in a LONG time... I mean its fine to be upset, but seriously thinking nobody else should get something, because of your personal issues?

I might have my own entitled moments, but never anything like this, where I will basically demand nothing change, to satisfy my idiotic OCD tendancies.
Coffee Addict Mar 19, 2024 @ 4:12pm
atleast the new achievements are easy, sure getting perfection is time consuming but its not that hard to do

i hope we never get another achievement like fectors challenge now that was hard
