Stardew valley doesn't open if its not on compatibility mode
i did everything that was listed on the "HOW TO FIX YOUR GAME" discussion and for some reason the game still does not work, i tried re-installing the game, re-installing steam, installing drivers, everything.
The game only runs if its on compatibility mode wich would be fine but i bought the game to play with some mods wich i heard can't work in this mode, can anyone help?

It looks like your system is running on 32 bits. From what I've read, the developer discontinued the 32-bit version of SMAPI once they upgraded to NET 5. If you're keen on playing with mods, there's some legwork to be done. Here are some useful links:

You might need to download earlier versions of mods compatible with 1.5.4. Most mod versions are archived on the files tab on Nexus, but even then, you'll need to check the release dates for compatibility. But do consider upgrading your operating system to 64 bits if possible.

Try launching the 64-bit branch with the SMAPI executable. A while back, a user had trouble launching the game, and using SMAPI somehow resolved the issue. They still couldn't launch the vanilla game, no idea why. At least you'll have some logs from the command prompt to help figure out why it isn't working. I was going to say to install NET 8.0 but if you followed the Troubleshooting Guide you've likely already installed it.

If none of these solutions work, I'm not sure what could be the problem, sorry.

Interesting, the game works now, so basically i can only play with smapi or compatibility mode enabled, installing NET 8.0 did nothing but like i said the game works now.
Such a strange issue, i don't have a clue as to what caused it.
