Possible way to change farm name?
Whether there be a mod or a way to modify the game files? Thanks

Your farm name (as well as other names, like your horse and pet) can be changed in the save file quite easily. First open your appdata roaming folder (type "%appdata%" into the run command (windows key + r)), then go to the Stardew Valley folder, then the saves folder. Open in your text editor of choice (I use Notepad++) and find the stored variable for your farm's name (conveniently called <farmName>). Then just delete whatever you had as the name and type your new name, save the file and you're done.

Remember to back up your save file before you do this. If something does break during the editing, restoring a pristine copy of the original save file is much, much easier than finding out what needs to be fixed in the broken one.

does this also work for an online game?
Is there anyway to do this on steam deck?
I did this and it worked, but my save files keep reverting back to the original name without me changing them. Has anyone else had this issue?
