how do i get the iron bar

Increase your mining skill and then once your mining skill 5 I believe itll unlock this thing in crafting menu where you can use 3 copper bars to make 1 iron bar or you can go into mines and mine for iron (Think you need a copper pickaxe) but its hard for me to find

An Iron Bar is created by smelting 5 Iron Ore in a furnace with 1 Coal for fuel or by transmuting 3 Copper Bar into one Iron Bar, Smelting the Iron Ore in a furnace takes 2 in-game hours. Iron bars are used in a variety of crafting recipes and are used to upgrade tools to tier 3. It can be sold for 120g. Iron Ore can be bought from Clint the blacksmith for 150Gs. It can also be found past the level 40 mark in the mines. It is gathered in the same way as Copper Ore, although less commonly found. coppied from wiki as people never follow links.

@Sara -- Iron is found on floors 40-79 of the mine -- it's much easier than transmuting copper to iron.
