void egg

i just had a cut seen where a witch did something to my coop so i went to look what happend when i did i found a void egg im wondering what i can do with it

Do you have an incubator in your coop? If so, try to hatch it. If not, put it away in a chest and hatch it whenever you get around to upgrading your coop.

i have a incubator but its in use

SPOILERS:

Hatch it in an incubator to get a void chicken (black with red eyes) which lays a void egg once a day. The void egg itself sells for 50 gold, is a liked gift by two villagers (Krobus and the emo boy) and is completely useless besides that (at this point in time).

So if you want a void chicken just for looks, but will be eating your hay, hatch the egg. Otherwise store it, and maybe wait until they have some point to them.
