I let the area get over-grown then they just randomly popped up one day. After that I cleaned the area up but preserved them. I think I got them right around the start of spring, but I forget exactly. I was in my field went down to clean up rocks and "oh, a giant mushroom".

Top barn is a Brewery stuffed with this many kegs, and the bottom 'artisan' trees are 2 of each regular tree.
