Enemy sprite mod?
I have an odd request

So.... I have a phobia of worms. Not a serious phobia, but I do feel a bit unpleasent when I'm going in the mines and I encounter the white worms/fly like enemies and they move about in odd ways.

I'm not asking for the developer or anyone to go and change the game specifically for me, I'm just wondering if someone could tell me two things:

1 - Can I just tough it out and whiz through the mine to a certain point at which these enemies stop spawning?

2 - Is there an existing mod out there that could change these enemy sprites into something different?

Also an unrelated question but how do I plant trees from Acorns/pine cones/maple seeds? I am not far in the game - still in the first spring season but when I try to plant a non-fruit tree in my farm, I keep getting a message saying it's the wrong season. Could someone tell me which season have to I plant these trees in?

They only appears from level 10 to 30.

Try planting them on normal soil without using the hoe.

The first 40 levels are jungle levels and they only spawn maybe once every 3 or 4 levels (random). After you hit the ice part, you'll never have to see them again. I've never seen any in the skull cave.

1. Have you tried to make a request on the official forums in the mod section?
2. They need untilled soil.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I'm at level 20 in the mines so I guess I can try to staircase my way down there and avoid them. I won't miss out on anything by never visiting the jungle levels will I?

As for the trees - Untilled soil worked. I knew I was missing something obvious >< Thanks again for your help.

Its less a worm but more like a caterpillar actually :P

Ah, it's not just worms but, maggots, caterpillars, even sea slugs can just freak me out by the way they move or the anticipation of their movement. >< Its a silly phobia.

I've only seen it once, but those maggots will cacoon and turn into those flying bugs. While in their shell, they are immortal.
