Seriously. I set one of those things off in the quarry once. Thought I had gotten far enough away, but nope. Blast still took off a chunk of my health from far away. Those things are volatile! Just looking at one the wrong way is a recipe for disaster, and I'm sure whoever the postman/woman is in Stardew Valley (whom I am sure is a Ninja or Sasquatch because we never see them at all) would be mortified to know that they are carrying live ordinance while making their daily rounds.
