Best place to farm solar essences?

I don't know where I can get a bunch of them at once so any tips would be nice.

The Endless Cave in the desert drops them like candy I find. Bring bombs for the mummies, kill them then drop a bomb to finish them off.

Krobus also sells them for 80g each.

Can buy in Sewer for like 80G per piece.
Or farm Metal Head from floor 80 and below in mine.

i think farming ghosts in level 50 and below is better

Personally I'd go for either Krobus (cheap & quick) or slaying the mummies (equip the burglar ring? for better drops) - the mummies IME usually drop 2 or more each and are fairly easy to kill. (using bombs strategically is my suggestion - kills enemies and clears paths of stones in one go just beware of the blast range).
