What's the use of artifacts once you donated it to museum

i have tons of duplicate artifacts in my chest but i still hesitate to sell it because i'm afraid they will be used in the future for something, can i just sell it to empty some space? or should i save some?

Just give to the museum for most of the artifacts thats thier use!

I don't think they're used for anything other than giving to the museum.

I sold all the discovered ones I had.

I advise you to hang onto any doubles, for a few reasons.

Ancient Egg - (Or w/e its called) Hatches into a dinosaur if you incubate it in your Coop.

Super Cucumber - Used to open the box above the smith. I would assume there are other items that do similar things.

Ancient Seed - Can be used to turn into more seeds.

These are 3 off the top of my head, id assume there are more that are usable.

You can.. I got one egg hatched it , and donated it first layed egg,,

You can give them as gifts to people... you can also display them on tables, etc.in your house.

Otherwise, you can just sell them.

Hang on to the Ancient Seed & Dino egg though.

Ooh, again, did not know you could display them. I have literally been throwing all duplicate artifacts in the trash :( Glad I caught this thread haha.

I think I first tried selling dwarf scrolls, and they were worth 1g -- so I wrongly assumed all artifacts sold for the same. Either way, money is not the big issue - but I really like having cool things to display! Saved a few artifacts/minerals since :P
