How often should I give gifts to my wife?

I've been giving gifts every day to Leah so that we could get married, and now I am at 12 hearts (max I believe), but I did hear you should still give gifts frequently. How often should I give her a gift? Every day is a bit pricey.

Dunno if you really have to, to be honest. There's a prize for maxing out affections (basically reaching 13/12 stars), and I got it when I just kissed her, which I do daily.

Still, an attentive spouse should think up a gift now and then.

I give Abby presents very often ... but I think necessary it only is, like Unwerth said, as long as it is below 13.
And at the beginning of each season the heart level seems to reset to 11 ... therefore you will need to do it every season anew

Its your wife, love her, give her 2 gifts every week and you will reach 13/10 hearts and a special gift *heehee*

I give gifts to my husband almost every day. Probably not necessary but every time I get out of the habit his hearts drop to 11/12. So I give him something, whether it's a gem I got from mining, his favorite food (pizza or Joja cola) a coffee, or the morning bagette he just baked me. A routine keeps things simple for me.

Just buy a bunch of salads or coffe, that should do fine
