Missed Marriage Event [May contain spoilers]
I'm hoping someone here can fill me in on a marriage event I just missed.

It's an event that happens after you go to sleep. All I know is that you need to be married, likely maxed out your spouse and then at some point your house goes dark as it's apparently still night and your spouse has left the bed.

Out of force of habit, I left the house as usual and was immediately greeted by a "Your progress has been saved"-message, so there's no reloading that one to see it for myself. I'd love to know what I just missed, so if anyone has got a clue, I'd really appreciate it.

On a sidenote, it's honestly a bit of a ♥♥♥♥ move, after over 600 days in the game to make an event that expects the player to break the morning routine like this and to immediately save it just to add an eff you-cherry on top. Just thinking about the amount of time I'd have to re-invest to see it myself... good stuff...

I agree. This is a bit late lol but i shut off the game because i was too tired to experience it as it starts without warning when you wake up when it just started. But it's as if the game recognizes the game to save after the marriage scene before the marriage scene has even ended, so if you come back into the game after it shuts off to leave off where you did there, you won't be able to because it skips the cutscene. I don't really want to continue my save file because i didn't get to see my own wedding happen and it's truly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol.

Exactly what happened to me, I am totally with you Gluttony.
I had a graphic bug that disappears after restarting the game, so I waited for it to save and restarted it to watch my marriage the most perfect way possible. Saw the cutscene start but thought "Well, it just saved" and it was too late anyway.
Now I wake up all dressed up with a new room in my house and no cutscene... I am really sad, had it all planned out and played 80 hours to get to this day. :(

Apparently we are not the only ones with that problem, but the only "solution" I found online was to watch it on youtube. -.-

I don't think I will continue this save either, not really sure why but this makes me so sad. :(
Missed my own marriage...

We can try to manipulate your save file to let the scene trigger again.

You can get the save file information by navigating to the directory below:

%AppData%\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves
(Windows Key + R -> type %AppData%)

Be sure to upload the entire folder. Example:All these files[i.imgur.com]

Upload your save if you want. I try to alter it
