I could, but that would mean I am not making pale ales or wined ^.^ I have a small brewery since I am a bit of a roleplay and intent on only using the attic space for brewers
(even if we take family friendlyness into account I think that it could be made in a friendlyness way ... like animals being send to a slaughterhouse and then return as ham, meat and other things)
I played with the thought as well ...
but considering the fact that you require your (adult) animal to have 4 to 5 stars, just to break even on the buying price (and the best you can gain, even with 5 stars, is ~125% of the buying price (of the young animal)) takes me away from the thought.
It also is strange to have (accountring for the lack of butchering) no meals that contain any meat ... the only non vegetarian m,eats are those that contain fish
According to what is written in the official forums, Concerned Ape actually had a butchering mechanism in place in early versions of the game ... but dropped it later during development
