Chicken statue

The wiki says you can get the chicken statue in the farm (10%) but I've never seen worms in the farm. I know cause I chop most of the trees and I'm in winter, so it's easy to see all around. How can I get one?

I would assume you can get it by using your hoe. Tilling the soil in sandy areas around town, mines, beach, etc. -- even if there are no worms -- will often net surprises. I've not found the chicken statue myself... even though I've tilled miles of ground...

I thought that too so I tried using my hoe all around the farm to see if I got any luck but nothing so far.
Can anyone confirm if this works?

The wiki also states that it can be gotten from a fishing chest... Guess it's time for me to break out the treasure lure.

I got two chicken statues in the river south of your farm.

Have you found the ancient sword by chance? I've been fishing and killing all the worms for practiclly an entire year now and not found one..

I got the sword but dont remember where :(

I'm only missing 4 artifacts but 1 of them is a strange doll with that 0.1% chance so it should take forever

Meh, I got two strange dolls digging in the mines trying to get a dino egg (I got one dino egg later in the quarry and like 3 from fishing now..).. Maybe try that, find a floor you can go to with the elevator quickly with sand then just go in and out digging it.. and hope you get lucky I guess..

Woohoo! I got it! Used a Treasure Hunter Lure and cast at the rock on the west pier off the beach.

Found this in the mines. Floors 91-93 are really good for sandy soil.


Edit: OMG.... found the second doll as well!! Level 92, by the mine cart.

This is so funky... on the 4th day of mining 91-93, (for Void Spirits, actually), I found ANOTHER Strange Doll.

This makes me wonder -- are specific artifacts confined to specific areas? I am currently looking for a Dino Egg... I wonder if it's on a different floor range.

The wiki seems largely inaccuret or incomplete when it comes to artifiact location.

I've also seen artifiacts often appear in streaks while looking for them (multiple of the same thing in mines, or such) which may be some weird seeded issue.

It be interesting to know if there is multiple fishing treasure loot tables or if they all share one regardless of fishing location.

Starting second year and have just under a dozen artifacts to find including sevreal bones, chicken statue, anicnet sword, elf jewelry, green doll ect.
