Bee Houses
Are Bee Hives (houses?) ruined once you go into Winter or do they just sort of stop working until Spring?

I've noticed they produce honey a lot faster when surrounded by grass, so production might just be slowed a lot or no production at all, since no grass in winter.

They go dormant in the winter, but "resume" in the Spring.

They produce different honey based on the flowers you have blooming near them. Fairy Flower being the most expensive honey.

Each honey is based on the type of flower, and is worth a different amount depending on this.

100g (Wild)
160g (Tulip)
200g (Blue Jazz)
380g (Spangle)
380g (Poppy)
680g (Fairy Rose)

Good info to know, I think I'll have to get into bee keeping while growing flowers...

How many flowers? Does it matter the number of flowers vs bee houses?

No. The flowers just need to be within 4 tiles of the bee house from what I've read.

You mean you put like 20 flowers around a bee house?

Bee houses give flower honey as long as there is 1 flower within the range of the bee house, so you can put 10 bee houses around a single flower for example.

You can look at the wiki for the exact space the flowers must be in, since the shape is kind of hard to discribe.
I have started beekeeping last year and it is actually a lot of fun (and litle work) and makes a decent chunk of money in fall. + it gives me an excuse to grow flowers.
