How long does it take to grow the assorted spring/summer/fall/winter seeds?

(edit: I'm an idiot and misread the question)

I keep meaning to test this, but I haven't yet. I think it's roughly a week. I don't know if the various seasonal seeds take a different amount of time to grow, but I don't think so.

Good question. The wiki has 4 days for the winter seeds, but doesn't mention the other seasons. I've done the spring and summer ones but I don't remember how long it took for them to grow. I never planted the fall seeds.

I think it's roughly a week too, or maybe they are all 4 days. Dunno. It's not the whole season. I wouldn't plant too close to the end of the season too. And I don't recall varying seed growth like you get with mixed seeds.

Alright :)

Yeah, 4 days sounds a bit short... but the wiki's been right about other grow times, so I don't know.

I'd say not more than a week, though, so give it a whirl. :)

I've never paid close attention to how long seasonal seeds take (I tend to just plant them to fill up space and not think about it much), but it feels like they've all taken roughly the same amount of time.

I calculated 8 days for Wild Winter crops, and the other seasons are similar. I've noticed that certain plants in the same packet will have 1 or 2-day shorter growths,

Is that including or excluding harvest?

I've heard others mention this as well, though haven't experienced it myself... strange.

its seven. The 8th being the day you plant

Well, when I talk about growth times, I include planting day and exclude harvest day, but I realize this might not be how others see it, hence why I'm asking.

But "7 days of growth, including planting, and harvest on the 8th day" sounds right to me, and what I meant by my guess earlier.

The way I calculated it was to put the planting date in my spreadsheet, ex. 8th, and then put the harvest date, 16th... and then subtract. This gives an accurate and simpler way then "grow x, then add 1", etc. that I've seen touted.

On (store-bought) packets, if it says "5 days to grow", all you need to do is add 5 to the current date, and if it's 28 or less, then there's time to grow it.

Right then. Thank you.

That... makes more sense than how I do it, and probably why the game/wiki does it like that. I've always found it strange that they ignored the planting date, but I never considered that it was in relation to "Do I have enough time to grow this?". >.<
