Has anyone else noticed how Sebastian's family seriously hates him? I'm pretty good friends with Robin and Demetrius but I feel bad because neither one of them has ever awknowledged his existance. I think Maru brought him up once but otherwise not a damn word. Poor guy, I think that's what made me marry him over Alex.

I married Sebastian as well, and I also have 10 hearts with Robin. She just recently mentioned that she found an ash tray in his room and was concerned, even though now he's moved out and we are married. Maru's mentioned him once or twice, but I don't think I have ever heard anything about him from Demetrius.

I'm not sure about the entire family hating him, they just don't understand Sebastian because he's not like them, hence left out. Would be nice to have more backstory on this though. I picked Sam so I don't know how far the family is in 'hating' him.

Well he is the step-child in the family. Maru is a product of both Robin and Demetrius's lovemaking, while Sebastian's father is currently unknown. He could have been from a one-night fling, drunken mistake, etc. from the city and she moved to pelican town to escape embarassment from friends/family and start over.

Pessimistic thinking, but you never know.

Robin obviously loves him though, but Demetrius might just be neutral rather than hate. Won't interfere with his life, but won't help him if he messes up somewhere.

Maru wonders if Seb even likes her since he never talks to her. "Wish I had a brother" kind of thing. She clearly doesn't hate him.

Robin comes down into his room, acknowleges that he doesnt like her coming into his room, then tells him that Abigail was looking for him. I've also had Robin mention that Seb hates Complete Breakfast.

Dem hasn't talked about him (in positive or negative light), but then again, he's step-father. Maybe they just never really bonded? Maybe I just haven't gotten the dialog for him?

If anything, Seb keeps it that way for himself. He's a private person.

I just got one of Maru's events and Dem said something along the lines of "This is my perfect child and I want nothing to happen to her."

I kind of noticed this too. Maru has brought him up a few times to me saying that they're half sibligns and they're nothing alike. In one of Sebastian's heart events his mother talks to him. I've also seen her bring up his ashtray smelling funny, but only once and I believe she told me an item he hated. They talk so little about him overall. Demetrius NEVER mentions him and dotes on Maru all the time. Maru's first heart event is even him kinda threatening the player about how they should treat his daughter. Seb and Maru must be close in age since they are both courtable, so I'd imagine he's been around Seb for just about as long as Maru, so this is pretty uncool. No wonder Seb doesn't like his family much hah. I know his mom loves him but she still barely has any dialogue about him. I talk to her, Demetrius, and Maru all the time since I was courting Sebastian and would stop to talk to them when going to see him.

I'm not sure if they leave him alone because he's a loner or if he prefers not to be around them because Maru is the golden child and he doesn't feel as loved.
