Common Mushrooms?

How can I get common mushrooms? I know you can get it by getting a mushroom farm in your cave but i chose bats. The wiki says that it should be ling around and it IS fall. There are no common mushrooms lying around hence its name COMMON mushroom. So... how do I get one?

In the hidden forest, northwest of the wizards tower.

Even in the months the mushrooms are around i think ive only seen like one around town. I most commonly see them in the secret woods.

Fall is Mushrooms time ... then you will find several of them out in the wild

I went through most of fall 1 looking all over and finally found a few the last couple of days. I didn't have access to the secret forest yet. The ones I found were in normal forage spots - the path above your farm, near the mine, etc.

In fall 2 I found many more just lying around the map. Some in the secret forest, but other places too. I think it's just RNG.

i was looking through in the day but when i was walking back to the farm i found 6 mushrooms instanely

If you let part of your farm grow wild, you will ... occasionally ... get a giant mushroom to grow.

You can put Tappers on the Mushroom trees and they'll give you mushrooms instead of syrup.
