Agriculturist gives a better boost than the listed 10% value, but Artisan might still be a better choice if you intend to make a lot of artisan goods.
We're still doing some testing with Agriculturist, so it's hard to say exactly.
I make some things, but its pretty sub par. Most crops i just sell instead of turn them into something, tho i have some exceptions
If you're trying to min/max, then it is superior to make artisan goods. If you're just having fun doing what you do now, then maybe pick whatever seems fun.
Even with Elegant's data, Artisan is superior. You get 50% more money for no extra work, while with Agriculturist you have to harvest more often, need more kegs to process things, and don't get 50% more of anything you would actually grow for profit.
I assume that's if you cover most of your farm in crops and have an insane amount of kegs?
A greenhouse full of ancient fruit to turn into wine will give you a bit under 400k/month.
If you read the one topic that the other guy posted, you see that its more like "atleast 10%"
It's not 10%, though. Check out the link in my first reply. Tests are still being done, but Agrigulturist seems to give a ~20-50% boost, depending on the crop, which is pretty weird.
Well, consider what you might end up doing later, and not just what you're doing now.
Do you want rows upon rows upon rows of kegs? If so, Artisan might be a better bet. But if you don't feel like going the "industrial" route, Agriculturist is a much better option than that lying 10% might lead you to believe (though Artisan is still an excellent choice even if you don't overly mass-produce).
This might help.
