Displaying weapons (or other unique items)?

I'm still fairly early in the game, and I was wondering--

Is there ever anything that lets you display items, such as weapon racks hung on the wall, or stands for your hats, or display cases to set on tables / shelves to showcase special things? Or am I stuck shoving all the shiny things in chests scattered around the house?

If not... This is totally something I'd like to see at some point! This game feeds my hoarding / packrat tendencies, and being able to see my hoard without wandering from chest to chest would be a lovely addition.

There's no displays of any kind. I've been selling every weapon (I can) that I don't use because otherwise they just take up chest space. I have only bought hats that I'll wear for the same reason.

You can put chests outside, or in barns/coops. I only have one chest actually in the house. Most are outside.

While displays for weapons sounds nice in principle, I have too much furniture from the museum to put in the house to realistically consider weapon or hat racks. Maybe if a basement was added with more room for such stuff then it would work.
