Duck feathers?
No results turned up in the search bar, and several google links tell me to use the scissors on the duck but it says ''>duck name< cannot produce wool'' I know that merchant woman with the purple pig sells them sometimes but is there another way?

Be nice to your ducks and eventually, they will drop. You'll find them laying on the floor of your coop, just like eggs.

Own some ducks (after you've built the big coop). Over time they will drop duck feathers.

Yes, but drop rate on rabbit feet is kinda rare. Rabbits normally just drop wool. (Cotton tails, I guess?) Apparently rabbit feet are also a very rare drop from the flying green creatures in the skull dungeon.

ohh! thanks for that useful tip. Cotton tails is a drop or a species?

It's not called cotton tails in game. It's just wool. I was just saying it's sort of strange that rabbits drop wool. But I think maybe it is because the little balls of wool look like rabbit tails (aka cotton tails).

But basically: rabbits occasionally will drop wool and rarely willl drop rabbit feet.

I think they drop wool because of angora 'wool'. In real life there are rabbits that are shorn for their fur, or even just have their fur brushed or combed and the loose fur harvested.

It's then spun into yarn (usually with another wool) to be knitted into things.

So, yeah, that's why rabbits drop wool.

It's just random. The best way to increase the chance is just to have more than one duck -- it allegedly helps if the animal is happy, but you don't actually need five hearts for one to drop.

It's the last thing I'm waiting for for to complete the Community Center too, and at this point I think it may pop up in the ♥♥♥♥♥'s inventory sooner than my ducks drop one.

Rabbit's foot and duck feather are related to your relationship level with the animal. The closer to 5 hearts you are, the more often you'll get them. Rabbits can produce 2-3 rabbit's foot per season.

To increase hearts, simply interact with them (heart icon above them) each day, then make sure they're fed and warm.

Edit: These start to produce after 2 or 3 hearts.

I got a rabbit foot at 1 1/2 heart.

Plus, I got my duck feather... but what now? Should I sell the duck? Nobody loves duck feathers, what can I use them for? xD

No uses as far as I know aside from bundles or collections.

He likes duck feathers, along with 100 other things, he doesn't love it.
