Anyone know how to get the iridium rod?

I got the note from Willy, that he restocked his store but he only has up to the fiberglass rod. This was at like fishing level 2 and I'm level 5 know. Looked on the wiki but it didn't say.

I'm not sure, but I think it might be lvl 8.

You buy it from Willy, if I'm not mistaken it's after level 7.

You'll get a note when he's got new rods in stock.

Either 7 or 8, but I think he sends you another message saying he upgraded his stock. I'm not sure of the level because I've already had it for a while.

actually, iridium rod unlocks at lvl6, I dunno if he sends you a letter about it though

dunno either im at lvl seven but mine got in like at second year into the game during the summer of fall season
