Fishing in the snow

It is basically unofficially confirmed that the walleye fish can not be caught in the winter even though the farm life TV channel IN GAME CLAIMS that it can be caught in the winter. Some speculate that this is happening because rain != snow conditions.

Can anyone else confirm any other fish that are supposed to be able to be caught in the winter, but cant because snow isn't treated like rain? Fish that show up on the TV and such, there needs to be some kind of in-game proof.

Additionally, I do not have a twitter, so can someone tweet the creator and ask him about this bug? Either about the fact that the TV is lying or the fact that snow isn't treated like rain is. Twitter seems to be the best way to contact him to ask if things like this are intentional.

Wow I never noticed that! Checking further the wiki says it can only be caught in the fall. So ConcernedApe must've not been paying attention because it doesn't rain in winter.
