I've seen screenshots of several farmers working the same farm, so don't worry friend, it is coming in a near future, and we're all excited for it!
I wonder how concerned ape will implement it will it be co-op ot the old harvest moon game style mini games? If its full co-op how would profits and griefing prevention work? 50/50 on gold or shared gold? This may cause issues if someone buys something unwanted.
Yes I know the developer wants to add multiplayer, but honestly I'm not convinced it will be great.
Basically, it would be a style where you'd play only with friends rather than random people on a server list. I'd also assume that only the host would be able to play the map alone, unless they left it up for others (I'd assume time would stop when no one was in game).
but the multiplayer can simply work like the Animal Crossing series; just you visiting others' farm and helping others taking care of things; like caring for animals, or cutting weeds, or refilling hay, or cutting some developing time in half, for instance.
Or you can leave gifts for them, perhaps?
Or maybe even do it Dark Soul style? A buff whenever your PC is tired / in danger / stayed up late?
There is even video of gameplay already made by the dev and also this dev has been really good and trustworthy up until now.
Besides showing off your farm.
But you just mentioned it!
There's an older video on ConcernedApe's youtube channel that showed how mutliplayer would work. Unsure if it's still going to be the same, seeing as the video was released in 2013.
