Why can't I romance Willy the fish shack guy...

Why can't I marry Willy? I know this is a silly question but he's single... Is it because he's old? I don't get it? HE MUST BE SO LONELY! Is he a widow? Why isn't he an option? :(

He is a wild man, he doesnt enjoy atachments. And from what I can perceive most bachelors are between 18 and 25 years old.

But he lives in a house that doubles as a store. Don't you mean Linus? He's a lot more 'wild' than WIlly. He lives by himself in the forest in a tent.

lol, but we could go on fishing trips, and instead of making breakfast for me every other day he could gift me a rare fish or lures. Or sell me discounted fishing things.

lol, but I want to be his fish! I think older looking people would be nice to marry instead of people who are still living with their parents in the game... IE. Maru, abigail, and many others. It'd be awesome to hook up with a shop keeper. I don't particularly feel very nice about taking someone's kid away to be married. Have you guys met Sebastian & Shane..
