Better sources of light
So I'm finally into like floor 35 of the mine, and it seems that there is quite a bit more darkness, so these Torches aren't going to cut it, both radius, and the fact that you can't pick them back up (unless I'm missing something). So is there a brighter light source that I can put on the ground, and then pick up again as I move?

And yes you can pick the torches up. Just hit them with the pickaxe. You can leave the mine with more torches than you brought in. =P

If you haven't found a Small Glow Ring yet, I'm not sure. The ring helps a lot but is a bit difficult to find. I ran through those levels in the dark and mined the rocks near the default lights hoping for a ladder to appear, and it did every time.

Oh, and just an observation. You don't need to worry about darkness too much. That dark area is quite short, and soon you will reach the winter themed levels. So if you just make your best to keep finding stairs and going down, light will cease to matter. And you also eventually find a glow ring of some sort.

Alright thanks guys. I did just get to level 40, aka Snow time, so I'm glad to hear the darkness won't be too much of an issue. Also good to know about pickaxeing the torches to grab them. Glow Ring sounds nice...just haven't found one yet of course :P
