Cant Get Rid Of The Slingshot Ever

I cant trash it or sell it or drop it.

How do i get rid of it since i have a master one plus a normal one and i dont want either -.-

Just put it into a chest and forget about it.

put a chest in town where someones walks like near a door. Put slingshot and all other rubbish in it.

NPC walks into chest and it dies.

I was storing everyones fav stuff outside theoir houses. Was not happy when they did this lol

The dev really should at least make it sellable to the adventurerer guy.

Its a pain having undeletable inferior items.

same with the old boots you get, i just got the tundra boots and can't get rid of the leather boots (that are useless.) .

You should always be able to blow stuff into fine dust.
At least stuff inside chests. Including the chest.

Pretty sure you can sell the boots to the Adventurers Guild

--> THROW IT INTO THE WATER!! Just like in Real Life! Stand near ANY River or any other Liquid source, Take your Thing (Left Click), then Throw it into Water (Left Click again outside of your Inventory Box)

Well. Good to know that this isn't a NEW issue, but rather a several year old one. And one that the devs are apparently actively working to preserve to the point of going through and eliminating the fixes for as they're found.

You can literally just put it in a chest in a place you never go to and then you'll never have to see it again. This literally isn't an issue. Just plop a chest in the Adventurer's Guild, put the slingshot inside it, then forget it exists.

You can probably also put it in the Grange Display after the judging, and then just leave it there and exit the town center. Everything left behind is destroyed.

Nope. You cannot put the Slingshot in the Grange display. I tried that during my last playthrough.

The best method is still to put it in a chest and place that chest right outside someone's house, they will destroy it and its contents as they leave.
